Briosa belongs to the Faustino family's Conserveira Group, owners of the century-old Conservas Portugal Norte in Matosinhos; this plant went up in Figueira da Foz in 1991, right beside the fishing port. Tuna fillets in olive oil with onion and bay leaf - 65% tuna, 31% olive oil, and just enough aromatics to season it. This is simple, savory, and versatile. Good on bread with tomato, or flaked over white beans with parsley and lemon.
