In America today, most canned seafood (conservas) on grocery shelves is not hand-packed by artisans. So, it’s no surprise the enjoyment surrounding conservas is not really a thing here. We would love to change that!
Just as curing fresh meat creates delicacies like salami and prosciutto, conservas isn’t just about preservation. In some countries, especially around the Mediterranean, a culture of connoisseurship surrounds these tins, and its creations are appreciated right out of the can, usually with friends and wine and some basic accompaniments like chips or bread.
We offer a range of sustainably caught and / or farmed oysters, mussels, sardines, mackerel, lobster, trout, octopus and more, harvested using certified standards that allow for abundant fish in the future.
