Tender, flaky mackerel in a thick yellow curry that manages to be rich and warming without going sweet. The sauce is obviously critical here so use it all - spoon the whole thing over rice, or eat it with crusty bread and a sharp herbal salad to cut the richness. A pilsner or dry Riesling won't hurt!
