Conservas La Narval is a family-run Galician cannery founded in 1966 on the Ría de Arousa, an area renowned for exceptional seafood, now managed by the third generation. These are tender, mildly sweet, and delicately briny, with a tomato-based Galician “vieira” sauce that adds gentle spice and umami without overwhelming the scallops. You can easily put these over rice or noodles, or have them with crusty bread and crackers. Definitely an excellent entry-point into Spanish conservas for shellfish lovers.
